Design

The basis for our design is formed by the functional specifications document agreed with the customer. Our design tasks are implemented using CATIA V5 and VISICAD as CAD systems.

We consistently employ modern design methods to ensure the high quality of our design solutions, such as:

Milling

Our experts realize complex 3D part geometries from the most economic point of view using our modern 5-axis HSC milling equipment. We machine steels up to 60 HRC when it comes to 5-axis milling. Graphite electrodes are manufactured using modern 5-axis machines with elaborate handling systems. The machines are programed at separate workstations using the CATIA V5 and VISICAD software and transmitted to the machine via a network connection.

Countersinking

Machining workpieces by means of die-sinking technology is one of the core competencies of our company. We can machine workpieces of up to a size of 1450 x 1100 mm using the most modern machines.

Turning

We machine steels up to 60 HRC when it comes to CNC lathes. Programming is done directly on the machine. Rotationally symmetrical workpieces, etc., are machined down to a hundredth of a millimeter.

Grinding

Here we machine different tempered steels of up to max. 58-62 HRC. Ceramic bonded grinding wheels are used for surface grinding. An angle table (sine table) can also be used to grind bevels or other geometries.

Laser welding

Our Nd:YAG laser welding system enables precise material application with minimal heat distortion for carrying out repairs, modifications and overhauls. All common steels are weldable in the process, including hardened up to 60 HRC.
